We are legalising all UK medical notes as quickly as possible. A medical note may be required for employment or studying abroad. We have seen an increase in the number of doctor’s notes being processed as more people now have to apply for Spanish Visas. You can order apostille services today!

Doctor’s notes are normally issued with the apostille in just 1-2 days. However, many doctors have never had their signatures verified and checked by the Foreign Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO). If a doctor’s signature is not known it can take a few days for the FCDO to contact the surgery. They will send email communication to the doctor to check the document and their signature. This is not done by us, The Apostille Service. Only the FCDO can update their own records.

The simplest option is to obtain your medical check from a doctor who is already registered with the FCDO.

Many of our customers will have already obtained a medical certificate from a local GP. Customers can contact their doctor to request they contact the FCDO with their details. The following information was provided by the FCDO.

Customers can ask their medical practitioner to contact our signature verification team at Your.BusinessApplication@fco.gov.uk with a sample of their signature on headed paper (the surgery’s official stationery with contact information), providing their registration number, registered name, capacity and permission to store the signature on our database. We could then upload this to our database in advance of documents arriving.
