For your Spanish Visa Application, you might need to obtain and legalise a medical certificate. This can be sourced either from a private medical service or via your local GP. We highly recommend our partnered service, 'Zoomdoc', for a quick and reliable process at an exclusive discounted price.
The £60.00 fee for the medical certificate provided by our partner does not include the cost of the apostille or translation services. These services are charged separately. The apostille service costs £82.00, and the sworn translation is £90.00. Please ensure you account for these additional fees when ordering your medical certificate.
You will be required to upload your ‘summary patient health care record’ – this is a simple summary of all of your current and past medical health conditions, medications and immunisations. Your summary care record can be accessed on request from your NHS GP surgery reception/admin team or your NHS app if you have connected your app with your surgery. A further signed wet ink copy will be sent to you by Royal Mail Tracked24. Delivery address details requested after payment.
We specialise in legalising medical documents with the Apostille. If you're applying for a Spanish visa, we've got you covered: we also provide translations by certified Spanish Sworn Translators, ensuring your documents meet the Spanish consulate's standards. We also offer a quick service, handling most orders in approximately 2 working days. Trust us to get your documents right and ready on time.
The alternative option, if you have time, is to go through your local GP. You will need to ask them to issue a medical certificate and give them the correctly formatted document. This may be a slow process as it takes time for the GP to issue the certificate and then very few local GP’s are registered to the apostille database so they have to be added. The process of adding a signature takes at least 5 working days after the document is first submitted for the apostille. Not all GP’s agree to being added to the database or are slow to provide the requested registration information. This can often cause delays and sometimes make the document impossible to legalise.
