The articles of association is a constitutional document used by UK limited companies.
This legal document is recorded at Companies House when the company is formed and may be updated with any changes through the life of the company. It describes the purpose of the company and how it will operate. It sets out the rights and responsibilities of its members/shareholders and the company directors.
