UPDATED 10 April 2020

We are legalising all UK documents with the apostille certificate. We are a registered UK Apostille Service assisting the FCO with their efforts to legalise documents. Whilst the Legalisation Office at the FCO is currently closed to the public we are working with them as a registered business to provide apostilles. You can order apostille services today!

Embassy legalisation is possible at some embassies but several of the embassies in London are currently closed for the attestation of documents.

How can we help?

We provide the apostille on most documents in just a few days. This is the quickest way to get the apostille issued in the UK. Completion times can vary and we will try to provide accurate processing times whenever possible.

Using an apostille service ensures your documents are processed quickly and safely during these very challenging times. The Coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic has restricted the FCO apostille service. Social distancing and staff self-isolating forced the FCO to close the service temporarily. They reopened, allowing apostille services to continue submitting documents. Only services that are registered with the FCO are able to provide apostilles at present.

Why are we providing apostilles?

Registered apostille services are assisting the FCO with the legalisation of documents. We are streamlining applications to simplify the workload for the government.

Legalising documents with the apostille is an essential service. We are assisting customers with documents that are often time critical. This may include the exportation of food, legal contacts, urgent travel home, repatriation of a body, power of attorneys, working abroad and many other important reasons to request an apostille.

Whilst services are operating we can also assist with less important matters like visa applications, legalising academic documents, registration of a birth overseas and getting married abroad to name a few.

Embassy closures

Many of the embassies in London have temporarily closed. This means attesting documents at some embassies is currently impossible while the government has restrictions on travel and social distancing in place. When these embassies resume services we can start attesting documents.

Closed embassies include-

  • Qatar
  • Kuwait
  • China
  • Thailand

Do not hesitate to conact us for any updates or for information on other embassy services we can provide.
